app does not format books for the iphone. why use an app (or even buy it) when you get the same content presentation on the website?

-problems with German books -problems with iOS 6.1

All it keeps saying is that there may be some issue on the server side.

I have this app on account that the website is impossible to download from, and I need some of these texts for class. The app is frustrating, as once the "negative" feature is enabled, you can not turn it off, and some of the texts, namely the ones I need, can not be viewed on my iPad. I had to pay for this app, and Im thoroughly unimpressed.

I was so excited to see this app...dont see myself ever reading the books I downloaded as I cant bookmark the page Im on & am taken to the beginning of the book after exiting :(

Some of the audiobooks will play, some wont. The text format books are very difficult to read. I love project Gutenbergs main work, but this app needs a lot of improvement .

This appears it could be a fantastic application, there is however a problem with the upgrade to "Pro" process. Would love to have it resolved.

Love the app, especially the broad selection of classical and precious educational books.

Being very interested in ancient literature and history, I find that Gutenberg stands alone in convenience for written and audio books. I recommend this to all my friends.

This app is a rip off.. Do not purchase!!!!

When I downloaded this app I thought I would have access to free books. There were no book suggestions and you search by title. After 2 book title searches nothing showed up. This is a waste of time.

Nice having this to check out books. There is a section for most downloaded books etc. and a discover section, and as previous review says, there are no suggestions, but neither are there on Gutenberg site.

Fabulous App! Well worth the money!! 1,000.00 of interesting books and essays, best books ever written and endless other cat. to get lost in.... TY to the app designers who put this together & sooooo user friendly! My 7yr niece loves as welll! Cheers! Bookworms in

I have to be able to open a downloaded book in Kindle, or, even better, to choose with which reader to open it.
